This is a great every-day nose stud, 14k gold filled with just a bit of flash from the small 2mm, shiny, flat head that lays flat to your skin, which I love. Your little stud will arrive sweetly packaged for gift giving. :)
The 22-gauge post is an average size, perfect for standard nose piercings (24g to 20g). But please note that 16 and 18 gauge piercings are too large for this 22 gauge post, so your larger nose piercing will need to shrink down for this small stud to fit securely.
Available in several customizable post styles, just let me know if you need different dimensions:
~~L BEND - Approx. 6 mm shaft, 5 mm tail (11 mm total length)
~~SCREW (L or R, 1/4" wearable shaft length) - Which bend should you choose? The general rule of thumb is to buy the bend for the opposite nostril (i.e. left bend for the right nostril). However, this is a matter of personal preference, as both bends will work in either nostril.
~~STRAIGHT* (see note below) - Post length 11 mm post (not a bone style post), to be shaped by you or your professional piercer for a custom-fit L bend.
~~FISHTAIL* (see note below) - Straight, 19 mm (3/4 inch) post to be shortened, shaped, and filed by your professional piercer for a custom fit.
*NOTE: Straight and Fishtail styles - Buyer assumes all risk for shaping - No return, refund, or replacement if the nose ring is damaged or broken by you or a third party. Do not twist, repeatedly bend the wire, or use force to shape. I am happy to work with you on a custom post if you have reservations about doing it yourself. :)
*Gold filled jewelry is not solid gold, but it is far superior to gold-plated jewelry because there is a thick layer of karat gold over the raw brass core, not just a microscopic film as is true in gold plating, and it can last for years if properly cared for and kept clean by wiping skin oils/sweat, cosmetics, creams, etc. from your skin and from the stud itself regularly. Store your gold filled jewelry in a dry place and avoid chemicals to prevent tarnishing.

everything was great and the item came as described I just wasn't expecting this type of nose piercing to be so difficult to wear. The stud often twists and reviews the metal inside your nose, so I end up being self conscious wearing this type of stud. Something to keep in mind if you are used to wearing a hoop or tighter closed stud :)

unfortunately had an allergic reaction as i didn't realize this was filled, not solid gold. otherwise beautiful jewelry, made nicely and was easy enough to bend to fit my high nostrils, but not TOO bendable to where it would easily come out or become stuck !
